Join us and KD Theatre, in the beautiful grounds of The Dean’s Garden, against Ely’s most iconic landmark, Ely Cathedral for this year’s open-air theatre musical ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
Alice heads down the rabbit hole in her magical adventures through Wonderland in this brand-new open-air adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s family favourite ‘Alice In Wonderland.’
Discover the madness of the tea party and meet the Mad Hatter, The White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and the Queen of Hearts, plus many larger-than-life characters along Alice’s journey.
This exciting and playful take on the tale features a professional cast of energetic performers, catchy new songs and lots of humour that will entertain and delight the whole family! Don’t be late for this very important date!
Duration: The performance is in two acts and will last approx. 2hrs with a 20-minute interval.
This event is limited to 100 persons.
We will also shortly be releasing access to this show in the beautiful grounds of National Trust Ickworth (Suffolk).
Event Costs
The cost to attend the Alice in Wonderland event is £15 per person, for all persons, with the exception of infants up to 18 months old, for which there is no charge.
This will be required to secure your places once we have confirmed that your places have been put in place.
Once we confirm your places, your payment can be completed by Bank Transfer. We will provide all the details for this with your invoice. The payment cut off date for this event is scheduled for June 30th 2022, this will be confirmed on your invoice.
Any changes to your booking (if achievable) or the cancellation of it must be completed prior to the payment cut off date set. The cost of your tickets will be due beyond this point and payment will be required in full. The non-payment of any tickets purchased for you will affect your ability to attend further Spectrum events and sessions.

Additional Event Information
How do we get into the Dean’s Garden at Ely Cathedral?
Access to the Dean’s Garden is via the Almonry Gardens on the Ely High Street or via the East Lawn of the Ely Cathedral. There will be signs to follow.
Please note that Disabled access is via the East Lawn.
Seating
Seating is not provided. We ask that you bring your own seats and picnic and blankets. When you arrive, please ensure you sit in the appropriate areas. There will be NO seats available on site.
Is there Parking?
There is no parking on-site, however, the nearest car parks are not far away at Forehill Car Park and St Mary’s Street Car Park.
Can we bring Picnics?
Audience members are welcome to enjoy the gardens pre-show and bring their own picnics. Bins shall be provided for rubbish.
What time can we arrive?
The gates will be open one hour prior to the performance, so you will be able to access the venue from 10 am for the 11 am start. The Spectrum team will be there to sign you in and show you where to sit.
How long is the performance?
The performance is in two acts and will last approx. 2 hrs 20 minutes with a 20-minute interval.
Will the weather affect the performance?
The performance will be taking place unless you have been notified otherwise. If it rains, we do encourage you to bring umbrellas and coats. Performances will only be cancelled if extreme weather conditions are deemed dangerous for the production to take place. We will refund or exchange your tickets, should the performance be cancelled.
