Sleeping Beauty

The Dreamiest Panto Of Them All!

Let the magic unfold this Christmas with the enchanting pantomime ‘Sleeping Beauty”.

In the kingdom of ‘Harlowtopia’ far, far away, a beautiful princess awaits her true love’s kiss to awaken her from a deep slumber. But beware! The wicked fairy Carabosse has cast a spell, and only the bravest heroes can break it.

Will good triumph over evil and save the day? Get ready to boo, hiss, and cheer as our talented cast, including Harlow favourites Ben Parsely and Jimmy Burton-Iles, take you on a magical ride through panto land.

With spectacular costumes and scenery, toe-tapping tunes, and plenty of surprises along the way, this is one pantomime you won’t want to miss!

On the day of the event, we recommend to ensure you arrive at the venue around 20 minutes before the start of the performance to allow time for us to show you to your seats and also to purchase any drinks or snacks that you wish from the kiosk.

We are working to start confirming places shortly. Please note the vast majority of our events are not first come, first served, in the interests of fairness. Once events are processed, we always provide an email update to let you know whether you have confirmed places or are on the waiting list.

Please ensure you have read all the notes provided before booking!

We always contact every request once the event is processed and allocated, providing as much notice as we can to families. We initially confirm places and advise those on the waiting list by text message from our platform. We also issue a QR code to confirmed places, which is how you sign in with us on the day, around 24-48hrs ahead of the event/session. Please ensure you read the information below on our notifications and recommendations.

Event Payment Options

Pay in full or over time

As well as having the option to pay by BACS or Card/ApplePay/GooglePay, please remember that your event/session invoices don’t have to be paid all in one go, or straightway (unless after our deadline date has passed).

We know how tough it can be for families with so many things to juggle so we make it as flexible as we possibly can, with payment deadline dates pushed into the future as much as we can.

You can also make bank transfers as and when you wish, as long as the balance is complete by the payment deadline date. This could be monthly, or ad-hoc and you can always see how much you have left on our live invoices. We can also provide split/scheduled payments by card.

Please note due to the high demand we face, if you request places for an event and do not make payment for it prior to the cut-off date that is set, this will impact you gaining future places with us.

If you request places to our events and sessions, we recommend adding the Spectrum WhatsApp number 07822 013562 and our Text Magic number 07441 446910 to your phone, as well as whitelisting the email address events@spectrum.org.uk – These are all used at different times for both confirming places and event updates, as well as our SPECTRUM named text service.

Health Protection

Due to the nature of the children we support, a person can’t attend our events whilst ill.

This guidance is in line with the Health Protection Agency and similar to that of many local schools. We can’t accept a person at an event or session with sickness/diarrhoea until they have been clear of this for a minimum of 48 hours. Additionally, it is not possible to accept a person with any symptoms of Covid-19.

We hope you can understand our position on this and the caution that we must exercise.
