Supper with Santa 🎅🏻

Hilton Cambridge: Wednesday, December 2nd 2026 – 7 pm

We hope that you can join us and the main man himself on the evening of Wednesday, December 2nd 2025, at 7pm, for our interactive “Supper with Santa” at the Hilton Hotel Cambridge City Centre. It’s great to be able to get one of our favourite events out very early this year so families can plan ahead!

Join Spectrum’s Team Santa as we indulge in some Christmas supper with a difference, alongside our very good friend Santa. Santa will tell us all what he’s been up to, share a little about his Christmas Eve plans, lead a Christmas Sing-Along, and bring a little Christmas cheer! There will also be a meet-and-greet with Santa for all attendees. Christmas Jumpers and T-shirts are most welcome, and don’t forget to bring your best singing voice!

The event content is aimed primarily at children aged up to 11-13, as a very, very approximate average for your reference, but children of all ages are welcome. Our time with Santa is always a lot of fun, regardless of age and the perfect Christmas event for all the family. Our Santa events are always among our favourite and most popular each year.

Seeing is believing.

Hilton grade Christmas Supper is for all attendees, and each child will get to meet Santa individually and will also receive a little present from Spectrum & Santa ahead of the Christmas season. You will be able to take a photo of them with Santa at this point. We are happy to take it for you if you wish to join your child in the shot. The approximate overall duration of this event is 1to 1.5 hours as a guideline.

This is a carefully considered event in a beautiful, spacious environment, alongside Hilton hospitality. Our dining consists of a seasonal Supper for all attendees – made up of sandwiches, light snacks, cakes and drinks. You can advise us of any food allergies in the form below, but please be sure to indicate the person they are relevant to.

Please ensure you have read all the notes provided before requesting places!

We always contact every request once the event is processed and allocated, providing as much notice as we can to families.

Event Capacity & Viability

Due to Santa’s incredibly busy December schedule, this year’s event falls on a Wednesday evening before children break for the Christmas holidays, which is the only possible date.

We have always been grateful for the tremendous response to this event, which has sold out every year, but, as we always have to say, due to it being held on a school night, the event will only go ahead if there is significant capacity to warrant it. However, if there is high demand for the event, as we normally see, we will look to rotate places to ensure good coverage for those who have never attended. We will also look to see if additional capacity is achievable.

We do recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. You can also pay over time until the deadline date of November 1st 2026.

Forthcoming Events

IMPORTANT

Please remember that our regular events, such as Clip n Climb, Climb Quest, and Spectrum Play, are often released well in advance, often months ahead and the likes of Away Days and Disneyland Paris even further.

If you’d like to request places at future events, please check our event page to see what has been released. We always recommend booking early due to waiting lists often being in place, and to also still request places if a waiting list is present, as availability can often change due to the nature of the children we support.

Ensure you have given us the correct number! If you are on the waiting list, it’s via email or text. Every request received is always respinded to.
  • We recommend saving the numbers 07822 013562 (WhatsApp) and our Text Alert number 07441 446910 to your phone for our notifications. We also send messages from a dedicated SPECTRUM named service.
  • Your QR code (e-ticket) for the event (how you sign in with us) is typically sent within the 24 hours before the session. This also includes a final reminder of the notes and timings from this page.

Event Costs & Summary

The cost to attend the Supper with Santa event is £20 per adult and £30 per child. A non-refundable deposit of £5 per person (within 14 days of invoice issue) will be required to initially secure your places. Place confirmations will be issued as quickly as possible so families can plan ahead and get their deposits organised, as well as notification if you are placed on the waiting list.

Please work to the following timeframe as an approximate guideline:

  • 630-7 pm arrival and table seating from 7 pm – if adjusted, this will be by no more than 30mins either way
  • Car parking (payable and 24hrs) is available in the Grand Arcade car park, which adjoins the hotel
  • The payment deadline for this event will be before November 1st, and all tickets are non-refundable after this point.

For this event, we regularly get asked if extended family, grandparents and so forth can attend. We are able to consider this, but these places must be clearly detailed on your form! Member children will always be considered first and take priority. Naturally, given the occasion, it’s important for us to have as many children at the event as possible.

Please note that the non-refundable deposit is due in all circumstances and the balance element is not refundable after the deadline date provided, without exception.

Event Payment Options

Pay in full or over time

As well as having the option to pay by BACS or Card/ApplePay/GooglePay, please remember that your event/session invoices don’t have to be paid all in one go, or straightway (with the exception of any required deposits and if the event deadline date has passed).

We know how tough it can be for families with so many things to juggle, so we make it as flexible as we possibly can, with payment deadline dates pushed into the future as far as is viable.

You can make bank transfers (partial or full) as and when you wish, as long as the balance is complete by the payment deadline date. This could be monthly, or ad-hoc and you can always see how much you have left on our live invoices using the included “review and pay” link. We can also provide split/scheduled payments by card if you ask us to.

Non-Payment, Non-Cancellation & Non-Attendance

We totally understand that plans and health can change, emergencies can happen, and life can just get in the way when you least expect it to, especially as parents, carers and guardians of children with additional needs.

We also understand that such things can also be hard to talk about at times, but we always try to help the families we support as much as we can. All we ask is that you stay in touch and just be honest with us; it is so much easier to help you this way.

Please do bear in mind that non-payment of invoices and not showing for events you have been given places for will have an adverse impact across the board for you, and access to our services will be restricted.

All invoices are due in full once the deadline date has passed, without any exception. Excluding non-refundable deposits, we can only assist with refunds or cancellations at no cost before deadline dates.

As a small children’s charity, we have to be incredibly careful with funds. Any items not being paid for, has a significant impact on us and will simply reduce or prevent future events from happening, as we are just not able to absorb losses of that nature. It also prevents other families from attending, which they could have done if they had had enough notice.

We keep any payments for all events and sessions open for as long as possible to help families, but we also have commitments and deadlines to the venues we work with, which we must adhere to or lose those opportunities. Even for events that are free to you, the venue still has costs, and staffing still has to be paid for!

Please remember that the following impact will occur if you don’t pay invoices or inform us of changes to bookings.

  • You will see your places cancelled for the event; a cancellation notice will be sent to you, and access to ALL our services will be immediately restricted. The invoice value will remain due to us.
  • Any bookings for events in the future you are on with us will be immediately suspended until the matter is resolved. New place requests will automatically be moved to the reserve list.
  • Spectrum reserves the right to pass outstanding invoices for commercial/legal/court collection, and additional charges and interest can be applied.
  • Additionally, Spectrum has a zero tolerance for any kind of behaviour/communication that is deemed to be rude/abusive/aggressive – our team are also parents of children with additional needs and volunteer their time.

Please Stay In Touch!

As always if you have any questions about any aspect of of our events, the payment process, or cancellations email us at events@spectrum.org.uk and we will be happy to see where we can help!

Our Recommendation

If you are a Facebook user, we recommend joining our private members-only Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/spectrumcio – you will need your membership number with us (starting with the letters SC) after you request to join. If this isn’t accurately supplied, the request will be rejected.

In addition to general information, we post here when confirmations, QR codes, reminders, and so forth are sent out so you can be sure to check your email at the right times. This is helpful as many mail providers can filter such emails to junk and other areas, so you can be sure you don’t miss anything or lose your place if it doesn’t land in your main inbox directly.

Our Instagram & Facebook stories are also good places to get news in advance and see the different things we are working on behind the scenes. Please do follow our Instagram account, as we will be sharing information, stories, images and videos leading up to the visit of the main man in red!

Health Protection

Due to the nature of the children we support, a person can’t attend our events while ill.

In line with standard health policy, children with diarrhoea or vomiting must not attend any events until 48 hours have passed after their last episode. Additionally, persons who are unwell and have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with others.

We hope you can understand our position on this and the caution that we must exercise.
