It takes a huge amount of time and effort to run a charity. For the Spectrum team to provide the local children we support with the time and services that they need and deserve it can be a round the clock task most weeks of the year. We have been fortunate to build a multi award-winning team at Spectrum, all passionate and dedicated to working with families of children with Autism, additional needs and disabilities.
Our charity is very much parent led and all of the groups and services we provide are on the back of feedback we receive from the families and young people that we support. It is ultimately our trustees that are legally responsible for the charity, assisted fully by the Operations Team and General Volunteers.
The Spectrum Cambridge team are all volunteers themselves. As well as giving us their time and a lot of hard work, they bring to Spectrum their real life experiences and skill sets for the benefit of everyone around them.
We are always looking for additional help in the team, so if you think you could become a volunteer for us please contact us at hello@spectrum.org.uk for further information.
