The “How To” Guide

At Spectrum, we use an iPad sign-in process for all our events. This process is straightforward to use and allows us to have all the data we need in one place for the day.

The following guide shows you how to sign in on the day. The simplest and quickest way to sign in is to use the QR code on the event pre-registration invitation (example below) that we send you around 24-48 hours before the event.

You need to have this with you on the day, just accessible on your phone. There is no need to print out the invitation; the iPad can read the QR code directly from the email on your phone.

The QR code and the event pre-registration also include a reminder of the date, the timing of the event, the venues address, directions to it, contact information, seat/coach numbers (if relevant) and general information. You can also store the event in Apple Wallet.

Your QR code contains all the information required about those included in your booking (adult/child).

Spectrum Sign In Steps

At our events, days out and sessions the Spectrum team have an iPad ready for your arrival to check you in. All that you need to do is as follows:

1: Locate the Spectrum check-in team

2: Have your event email with QR code to hand (example below)

3: Point the QR code at the iPad camera (you can see this on screen)

4: Check through your displayed to make sure they are correct and you are done!

Not got your Spectrum QR code email with you?

Should you not have your email with you at an event, or a copy of it, no need to worry! We can manually check-in you at the event on the iPad and locate your details, it just takes a tiny bit longer to do than using a QR code.

We do send a text message to you when you QR code is sent out so you know when to check your email and make sure you have it.
