For the families we support and Spectrum, one of the most special and looked forward to events of the year is Winter Lights with National Trust Anglesey Abbey.
The Covid pandemic meant that there were no Winter Lights to enjoy last year, making this year’s event, even more, looked forward to than normal and unique it was. The Spectrum team have worked closely with the Anglesey Abbey team for over 5 years on this event, and it was fantastic to be even more at the heart of it with them in the planning aspects for the community evening. Several months of planning on the delivery provided a truly memorable night. Over 500 of those we support joined us amongst a beautiful array of lighting that delivered a sensory delight across their beautiful property. The trail’s end provided a fantastic moment for families to catch up around firepits to enjoy warm drinks and great food.
We want to extend our huge thanks, especially to Kayley, James and Janet, for their time, efforts and all the passion they show every year in working with us and improving accessibility and inclusion for the community. It was also brilliant to also work with Pearce Hire and Eddie Barcan of Splendid Events, on sensory aspects and delivery, alongside the Anglesey Abbey teams.
