We were truly privileged to be in attendance, as our fantastic partners KD Theatre, officially launched their Jack & The Beanstalk Pantomime at Poets House, Ely with a press day.
It was a fantastic, engaging event to be part of and great to join up with the cast of the show for a little while. The event was brilliantly hosted by KD director Katherine Hickmott, who also formerly unveiled that talented fellow director and producer, Daniel Bell is returning to the stage this year as Dame Trott much to everyone’s delight. The excellent Terry Gauci will be alongside him as Handyman Harry.
Joining them in the senior cast are other KD favourites Lucinda Withers as Barnoness Blunderbore and Gregory Hazel as Spirit of the Beans, swapping their roles of good and evil this time out. The talented Joseph Hewlett takes the lead as Jack Trott, the beautiful Martha Henry as Jill and Alan Booth a perfect fit for the role of Giant Blunderbore to round up a fantastic cast.
It’s only September and we already can’t wait to head to The Maltings in Ely to see the show this coming Christmas, with over 120 booked in already and counting down the days! Great times ahead!
