We enjoyed a simply stunning day as we headed to the award-winning National Space Centre in Leicester, home to six interactive galleries, the UK’s largest planetarium, and the iconic 42m high Rocket Tower!
A fantastic day was spenrt immersed in all the learning available, interactive media and history of the Space Programme, with particular reference to Apollo and Soyuz. Our day started out in the wonderful Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium and enjoying the immersive 360 degree fulldome show of CAPCOM GO!, celebrating the Apollo Space programme, which was tremendously impressive.
Throughout the day we got learn more about our Solar System, the Universe, the first moon landing, whats orbiting the Earth, astronauts, and spacesuits to name but a few. A truly fantastic away day suppported by our travel partners Mil-ken, who were exceptional as always.
