The Dean’s Garden at Ely Cathedral provided the gateway to take us off to Neverland, as we took in KD Theatre’s fantastic outdoor theatre production of J.M.Barrie’s classic, Peter Pan.
Accompanied by a stunning soundtrack we took in a world of pirates, lost boys, native Americans and fairies, delivered by an exceptional cast, that surrounded the boy who could fly and never grew up.
The cast included David McNair (Peter Pan), Terry Burns (Captain Hook), Lucy Bell (Wendy Darling), Oliver Scott (Smee), Katherine Hickmott (Mrs Darling) and Ashley Shackell (Starkey & Chief Panther). The cast were additionally supported by the up and coming talents of KD Academy, taking on the roles of the Darling Children and the lost boys to name but a few.
A fantastic play in a beautiful setting, made for a wonderful Summer’s evening enjoyment.
