A truly fantastic day was enjoyed as we took in over 240 species of animals across Colchester Zoo’s 60 acres of parkland and lakes.
Across Colchester Zoo are many different habitats, from the humid home of our Komodo Dragons to their very own Africa plain. The Kingdom of the Wild is home to White Rhino, Giraffes, Ostrich, Zebra and Kudu to name but a few.
We also got to take part in some fantastic activities with the opportunity to hand feed the elephants and giraffes and walk through the 24m tunnel as the Sealions swam and played overhead.
