Making Dreams Come True
A massive thank you to Nicola and all the team at Richard Designs in Ely for making us their Charity of the Year and for their commitment to fundraising for us over the coming months!
This is wonderful news and we have already heard lots about their office cake sale plans, World Cup themed events and one of the team has even been sponsored to give up chocolate for a month! Not only have the Richard Designs team taken these wonderful steps to support our work in the community but they have also started life at Spectrum by making a little boys dream come true.
On commencing work with us they learnt about the passion that one of our young members had for fashion and design and to his disbelief, invited him down for a little tour around the creative walls of Richard Designs. Noah got to see how they bring their ideas to life, the fabrics they decide to use and the process of making their creation become a reality. We think that his huge smile says it all and can’t thank them enough for going out of their way to make his Birthday a very special one to him. Noah was even brave enough to ask for a job while he was there!
We are hugely looking forward to working with all the team over the months ahead and thank them hugely for their support.
