As part of our Digital Reach expansion, we are delighted to launch Spectrum Minecraft.
Spectrum Minecraft provides dedicated, secure servers for the children with Autism, additional needs and disabilities that we support, to access the world-renowned game. Working with leading global providers Shockybyte and Apex, we provide a platform where the children can play the game in different modes with other likeminded children. Our Digital Reach project centres around not only navigating geography and families different circumstances but is also very much about harnessing creativity and building social communication skills, alongside new avenues of support.
Our delivery is cross-platform and will cater to both Bedrock and Java versions of the game in due course, over different skill levels. We are also delighted in the first instance, to have 25 of the children we support assisting the team with testing aspects of the delivery, which is great to see as well as their feedback being an important part of the process.
We are hugely looking forward to the rollout as well as it’s development over time.
Our dedicated Spectrum Minecraft page can be found at https://spectrum.org.uk/minecraft, which also includes access information for those we support, and how to register for the service.

Spectrum is a multi-award winning, parent-led charity, providing events and support for families of children with Autism, additional needs, learning difficulties and disabilities. We are family-focused, passionate about inclusion and supporting Special Education Needs & Disabilities (SEND).
