One of our absolute favourite times of the year arrived, as we headed off to The Maltings, Ely for KD Theatre’s pantomime production of Jack and the Beanstalk!
Year on the year the productions delivered by KD Theatre just get and better and Jack and the Beanstalk was exceptional. Under the guidance and choreography of Daniel Bell and Katherine Hickmott, the main cast of Terry Gauci, Joseph Hewlett, Gregory Hazel, Martha-Frances Henry, Lucinda Withers and Alan Booth delivered a fantastic performance and vocals alongside their talented ensemble of Josh Harding, Stephen Lennox, Shauna Kimberley and Leigh Simpson, The KD Academy also very much played their role.
This year, also saw Daniel Bell brilliantly resume his role of Dame Trott on the stage. The story, dating back to the 1800s and beyond, was wonderfully told amongst a range of fantastic comedy and song, perfect for all the family.
With Alice in Wonderland arriving in April and Dick Whittington in place for Christmas 2019, it looks to be yet another brilliant year ahead with the talents of KD Theatre.
