Job done!!! The Santa Challenge is complete!
On December 2nd we headed over to our partners and wonderful hosts, Clip n Climb Cambridge, after Santa himself set us a challenge which you can also see in the video below. After making some modification to his sleigh for this Christmas period, Santa pondered if the children we support could climb 1715m in an hour. Not only were they happy to accept Santa’s challenge but they absolutely smashed it, climbing a staggering 6068m climbed in the allotted time and raising £922 for Spectrum in the process!
It was a truly fantastic effort all round, from those that took part, everyone that sponsored the event, to Santa and all of the exceptional team at Clip n Climb Cambridge. A massive thank you to all those involved, including a special thank you to Tesco Ely who provided all those taking part with Christmas chocolates too.
