A huge thanks to Zac and all the team at Traditional Punting Company alongside the wonderful Harriets Cafe Tearooms.
Thanks to the Covid Pandemic, it’s been a long time since many teams have physically seen each other. So it was great for many of the team to finally change this for the first time in many months, relax and enjoy an absolutely fantastic evening punting in Cambridge, whilst dining on an exceptional late afternoon tea.
We also caught up with “Messing about on the Cam” – Cows about Cambridge before the team headed off for a fantastic evening punting!
The evening also presented the perfect opportunity to catch up with Chris and Beth Walthew for a cheque presentation before we headed out on the Cam. Chris has now passed 1000 miles on his running fundraiser for us and presented Spectrum with a cheque for an amazing £1075.00 that he has raised for our work.
This is an incredible achievement from an incredible supporter of ours, who has been with us every step of our journey so far. We are incredibly grateful for his efforts and the climbing sessions they also provide us via Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge and Climb Quest Milton Keynes.
Chris, Beth and the girls will always be a massive part of the Spectrum family. Thank you so much for all that you do.
Spectrum is a multi-award winning, parent-led charity, providing events and support for families of children with Autism, additional needs, learning difficulties and disabilities. We are family-focused, passionate about inclusion and supporting Special Education Needs & Disabilities (SEND).
