Like us, Circus Starr believes in a world where anything is possible. They understand that attending mainstream events can be difficult for children with additional needs or families in difficult circumstances. They have created a tut-free zone, a show in which shouting out, dancing and jumping up and down are expected. Everyone is encouraged to let go of their worries, get involved, and be themselves at their circus. Their shows are inclusive and very much focused on children with additional needs. Perfectly suitable for children that struggle to sit still or focus at such an event.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), their purpose is to impact the lives of the children and their families in our audiences around the UK and to impact the communities in which they perform.
The Circus Starr team kindly provided us with 40 tickets across two performances in the Cambridge show of their nationwide tour. The families we support that attended were treated to a genuinely engaging evening, despite the present restrictions we face, as their performers delivered a fantastic range of skills and talent, coupled with laughter and comedy led by Chico the Clown, with Ringmistress Rosalia doing her very best to keep him from misbehaving.
A fantastic afternoon and evening in the company of Circus Starr.
